Data protection principles

Data protection and data security for our customers and users is a high priority for us. Therefore, we take the protection of personal data during all business processes very seriously. Data protection and information security form part of our corporate policy.

 

Information on the collection of personal data

In the following sections we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that make a natural person identifiable, either directly by name or indirectly by additional information.

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name and telephone number if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data arising in this connection once storage is no longer necessary or, if we are obliged for legal reasons to retain the data, we restrict processing.

If we wish to use third party service providers for individual functions of our offer or use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In this context, we also mention the defined criteria of storage duration.

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

When using the website for informational purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser sends to our server. If you would like to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO)

In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in accordance with the browser you are using and through which certain information is transmitted to the site that sets the cookie (in this case, by us). Analysis tools

This website uses the analysis tool Matomo, an open source web-analysis-tool (https://matomo.org/).

Matomo uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and which enable us to analyse the use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your abbreviated IP-address) is transferred to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which serves to optimise our website.
